Exploring the core improv principle of “Yes, and” as a strategy for judgement-free idea generation. Applications of this collaborative, generative approach include design sprints and other team-based discovery processes.
This workshop will guide participants through exercises that increase creative problem solving, promote consensus building, help shake up established power/influence dynamics on teams, and build an atmosphere of trust where innovation can flourish.
Improv for Presence and Presentation
Using the methods of improvisation and storytelling to help individuals present work and facilitate group processes more effectively. Studies show that improv exercises have been shown to reduce stress before public speaking as well as reduce general anxiety.
This workshop will engage participants with exercises that help them to think on their feet, speak with clarity, connect with their audience, and feel confident in sharing their idea. Make your presentations memorable, clear, and lively by bringing the spark of spontaneity to your approach!
Improv for Remote Engagement
Using the techniques of improvisation to help every member of a team participate more fully and effectively across remote digital meeting rooms. Studies have shown that the application of improv exercises at the beginning of working sessions can dramatically increase participation on digital platforms.
This workshop will equip participants with practical exercises that function as fun ice-breakers or pattern-breakers, while simultaneously engaging heightened participation and presence. Spontaneity is the perfect antidote to Zoom fatigue!
